The Return Brings "Beatlemania" to The Strand
Marietta, GA (September 16, 2010) —The Earl Smith Strand Theatre continues its first music series with the critically-acclaimed Beatles tribute band, The Return this October.
"Everyone loves the Beatles and The Return is the real deal" said Earl Reece, Strand executive director. "You'll think you're watching the original Fab Four playing their greatest hits."
Recreating "Beatlemania," this nationally-touring quartet is keeping the music alive and well by paying tribute to the legendary group. The Return captures the Beatles ala 1962 with uncanny impersonations of the British rockers. The audience will buzz with excitement as the Return effectively reproduces the enthusiasm of the Beatles with their stage stances, mannerisms, and voices.
The Return will perform on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 8 PM. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door and are on sale now.
A selection of paintings by Leigh Ann Culver will be on display during the event. Culver's works include an eclectic collection of portraits in oil, including, of course, the legendary Beatles.
The historic Earl Smith Strand Theatre is a multi-use performing arts and events facility. The theatre is governed by the Friends of The Strand, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and depends on the financial support of private and corporate donors. It is The Strand's mission to serve the community with cultural entertainment for a diverse audience and to promote economic health in the City of Marietta and Cobb County.
